This recipe comes with a warning: it's insanely delicious, and far too easy to make! Whip up a batch for holiday cookie swaps, office treats, or gifts for neighbours. But don't forget a second batch for yourself, because once you smell the simmering toffee, you won't be able to resist this tasty treat.
Ingredients

About 8oz mini pretzels

1 cup butter

1 cup packed light brown sugar

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

sea salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Spread pretzels in a single layer
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and butter
Once the mixture starts to gently bubble, simmer for 3 minutes without stirring
Immediately pour over the pretzels
Bake for 5 minutes
Remove from oven and pour chips over the top
Using a spreader or spatula, gently spread the chocolate over the toffee
Sprinkle with sea salt
Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate to harden
Break into pieces
