Goat’s Cheese Stuffed Figs

When you’re looking to wow your guests but don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen, this is your recipe. Serve these fancy figs on a bed of arugula as a plated appetizer or on a platter for less formal events.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh figs
- ½ cup goat’s cheese
- ¼ cup crumbled walnuts (toasted or not)
- 1 tbsp raw honey or balsamic glaze
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F
- Cut the top stem off each fix and carve an X on the top
- Spoon ½ tbsp goat’s cheese in the centre of each X
- Sprinkle with walnuts, then broil for 5 minutes
- Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze
