Some mornings, only a bowl of oatmeal satisfies the comfort craving. Far from boring, this updated porridge combines protein-rich yogurt, warming cinnamon, crunchy granola, and fresh fruit that will set up your day for success.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup greek yogurt
- Splash of milk of choice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp granola
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Fresh berries, banana slices, granola (optional)
Directions
In a small pot on high heat, bring salted water to a boil
- Turn heat to medium and add oats
- Cook for a few minutes until soft and water is absorbed, stirring occasionally
- Transfer to a bowl and add yogurt, milk, syrup, cinnamon, granola, and optional fruit
